For Black History Month I felt led to make one video a week about Great African American Heroes that I greatly respect. The first of 4 videos is about Frederick Douglas. Frederick Douglas was born in 1818 in Talbot County, Maryland. He was a social reformer, abolitionist, orator, writer, and statesman. A lot of what we learn in modern day history classes is devoid of a lot of truths. Due to a distorted media as well, we have misinformation being spewed at us everyday as well as withheld information. Looking in to the life of Frederick Douglas you’ll learn a lot about the history of this country otherwise not widely discussed. The Republicans can view this video with a lot to be proud of, and the Democrats can watch this video with a lot to learn. There are a lot of myths surrounding both the Democrat and Republican parties.
